It is with great pleasure that we can inviting you, your friends and colleagues who are bioeconomy enthusiasts and those curious, to join us virtually on 14 October 2020 for the CELEBioEconomy Celebration, from 12:30 – 17:40
The aim of the programme will be to enable the Czech Republic to move forward with the bioeconomy agenda inorder to generate new economic opportunities and jobs from an increase in the bio-based and green businesses, through high added value bio-based products and services while securing the operating conditions for the sustainability of nature’s ecosystems.
The BioEconomy Celebration will inform the participants of the current and future activities of the BBI-JU, https://www.bbi-europe.eu/ , provide an overview of the findings of the CELEBio project, https://cz.celebio.eu/ within the CEE region generally, and Czech Republic specifically. An important and participatory part of this programme will be the interactive workshop where the attendees will participate in shaping the direction or action items to prioritize the future value-chains of the Czech Republic, in the following areas: agriculture, forestry, waste, energy, and novel technologies. We will then have insprirational bioeconomy talks from 4 organisations located in different regions of the world. And the final session, will be the BioEconomy Underground competition, https://cz.celebio.eu/?page_id=200, for starting bioeconomists, with the awarding of the BioEconomy Underground Prize (10.000CzK).
