Informations from UN Water Conference (22.-24-3.2023, New York).
State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of Slovakia to the UN conference on water presented the White Paper (Water for Climate healing - https://www.mpsr.sk/en/index.php?navID=54&id=84&fbclid=IwAR0cl0lC1GbW7lGA1W_oHbssH6AG6HrQ_8GiLtkTwpYp1TP2G854cQP-Cc0 - see the document under the press release below, which fits very well into our joint project DALIA.

We also had a number of bilateral negotiations at FAO and UNCCD level, that were very interested in our agenda. We had bilateral meeting with Laszlo Borbely, State Counsellor to the Prime Minister’s Office of the Romanian Government on the topic of Sustainable Development. He had big interest about our project.
I just want to point out that our DALIA project is one of the first projects of the cross sectoral staceholders, which should give an answer to the hitherto overlooked risks of the impact of land damage on water sources too. The entire conference in New York was driven by the necessary mobilization of communities and stakeholders to restore water in damaged ecosystems and in small water cycles with an urgent need for ecosystem retention of rainwater.
