In the framework of the BIOEASTsUP project, three sub-regional workshops will be organised to validate the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA)
document produced under the project. The BIOEAST Vision for 2030 paves the way for the comprehensive BIOEAST SRIA. The SRIA will provide relevant and high-quality strategic research policy advice in the evolving landscape of the broader bioeconomy and related sectors in the key BIOEAST thematic areas:
• Agroecology and Sustainable Yields
• Food Systems
• Bioenergy and New Value-added Materials
• Advanced Biochemical and Biomaterials
• Forestry Value Chains
• Freshwater-based Bioeconomy
• Bioeconomy Education
Three workshops will be organised in the BIOEAST sub-regions:
• Ljubljana /Slovenia/ for South Eastern Europe (SEE) – 26/09/2022
• Tartu /Estonia/ for the Baltic States – 12/10/2022
• Warsaw /Poland/ for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) – 25-26/10/2022
